Candy Doctors
Candy Doctors is a DJ and promoter duo founded in 2022 by two enthusiasts of indie, italo and dark disco and kindred sounds. They were born a day apart — both are Arians.
Grzechu Warty (Grzegorz)
A DJ from Trzebinia who loves dark disco, indie dance and afro house, as well as broadly understood experiments in electronic music. He has played at clubs such as SiXa, Szpitalna 1, CEL, Sekta Selekta, Schron, Ciało and Splot Słoneczny in Warsaw. He also took part in the Berlin event “X-S Save the Night”, supported by Jägermeister and organised by the Queer Trans Liberation Network — an event promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities, chronic illnesses and neurodivergence in club nightlife. Though he himself has had a disability since birth, it has not stopped him from developing his DJ career and honing his passion. As a promoter he has organised many dark disco and afro acid/house events — among others in Kraków, where he invited friends to play together — and he collaborates regularly with the Piękny Pies club in Kraków.
MAKE IT WEED (Mateusz)
He had not even been born yet when he first came into contact with genres such as acoustic, blues, jazz, reggae, rap, rock, dub, trip hop, house, techno and psytrance. As a child he lived in Poland, London and Spain, and music accompanied his family every day — so he soaked up all those sounds from the very beginning. Mateusz is obsessed with perfection, sound and the supernatural, which is why he loves experimental, cosmic and unusual sounds so much.
Highlights for the duo include the Piękny Pies birthday, SiXa in Katowice (with Local Suicide) and regular 2023–2024 dates in Kraków, Sopot and Warsaw. Candy Doctors is a more percussive, harder-hitting version of Grzechu Warty's solo sets — built for peak hours.
